DCR Traffic Advisory: Morrissey Boulevard Due to High Tides
Due to the potential high tides and minor coastal flooding forecasted, the Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) is preparing for potential lane and/or road closures to occur along Morrissey Boulevard (inbound and outbound) from Freeport Street to UMass Boston in the City of Boston starting Thursday, October 17, 2024, and continuing through Monday, October 21, 2024.
Anticipated high tide times are as follows:
Thursday, October 17, 2024, 11:23 a.m.
Friday, October 18, 2024, 12:11 p.m.
Saturday, October 19, 2024, 1 p.m.
Sunday, October 20, 2024, 1:50 p.m.
Monday, October 21, 2024, 2:42 p.m.
Traffic patterns will be clearly marked, and DCR operations staff will be on site. A police detail may be on site as needed if the off ramp from Interstate 93 requires closure.
