Cue the Duck Boats! Celtics NBA Championship Rolling Rally Details Announced
Boston, MA – Tuesday, June 18, 2024 – Today, Mayor Michelle Wu, the Boston Celtics, and TD Garden announced a rolling rally parade to celebrate the Celtics’ 18th NBA Championship. During the parade, Celtics players will celebrate on Boston’s famous Duck Boats, as is tradition for championship winning teams. The parade will take place on Friday, June 21, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. beginning in front of TD Garden on Causeway Street, passing by City Hall Plaza and the Boston Common on Tremont Street, and ending on Boylston Street by the Hynes Convention Center.
Today the City of Boston will host a public safety press conference to share event details and measures to make the parade a family-friendly celebration. City officials will also share preparations for the hot weather expected this week. This press conference will be held at City Hall.
