Crash on 93 involving a woman from South Boston

According to Mass Live.com, a woman from South Boston suffered life-threatening injuries Tuesday night in a crash on Interstate 93.
Massachusetts State Police troopers responded around 9:45 p.m. to the serious crash in the southbound lanes of I-93 near Exit 37A at the Reading-Woburn border, according to Mass State Police.
A 43-year-old South Boston woman had been driving a 2016 BMW X5 south down the highway in Woburn when it struck a 2018 Toyota RAV4 from behind. According to police, the car was also heading south. After the crash, the South Boston woman’s car went off the road and landed in a grass infield and hit a large concrete light pole foundation. She was ultimately taken to Massachusetts General Hospital with life-threatening injuries The 61-year-old Quincy man who was driving the Toyota was not injured.
