BOSTON – Boston City Councilor Ed Flynn and Councilor At-Large Michael Flaherty will hold Neighborhood Office Hours in South Boston this Saturday, October 19th from 10am-11:30am at the Thomas J. Fitzgerald VFW Post 561 (715 East 4th Street).

The Councilors will be joined by Chris Osgood, Chief of Streets for the City of Boston, and Greg Rooney, Commissioner of the Boston Transportation Department. Residents are encouraged to bring constituent and neighborhood issues directly to Councilors Flynn and Flaherty, Chief Osgood, and Commissioner Rooney.

“We’d like to thank Chief Osgood and Commissioner Rooney for their partnership and joining us at this week’s office hours,” said the Councilors. “Transportation, traffic, Vision Zero and the safety of all on our roads are important quality of life issues in our city. Residents of South Boston continue to advocate for traffic calming measures on our streets.  This is an opportunity for us to discuss these concerns with neighbors directly, and to work together to address these issues.”

For more information or constituent service issues, please contact Councilor Flynn’s office at 617-635-3203 or [email protected] and Councilor Flaherty’s office at 617-635-4205 or at [email protected].
