to discuss proposed 2% Alcohol Tax 

On Tuesday, September 15th at 2pm, City Council President Bill Linehan and City Councilor Frank Baker will host a news conference outlining details of the proposed 2% alcohol tax an d how it will help mitigate the addiction crisis in the city.  They will also reveal a new video “20 Cents Makes Sense.” 

The money from this proposed tax would go directly to prevention, intervention, and recovery services for residents in the City of Boston.    The conference will take place at Hope House at 8 Farnham Street in Dorchester.
