Could Southie be getting one more liquor license?
According to Universal Hub, Jamie’s Variety at H & 5th is hoping to get a license to sell beer and wine. A hearing was held on Wednesday morning and Indravadan Patel’s made a request for a beer-and-wine package-store license. Along with the mayor’s office, there were several residents in support of the license.
City Councilors-at-Large Michael Flaherty and Annissa Essabi George were against it.
The licensing board will make a decision regarding Jamie’s Variety on Thursday. We shall see. You read more details about this here.
