Columbian Tall Ship Gloria in town
The Colombian Tall Ship Gloria will be visiting Boston June 21 – 24. Open for public visits June 22 and 23 from 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM at Fan Pier next to the World Trade Center.
The flagship of Colombia and training ship of the Colombian Navy, will be celebrating the Colombian bicentennial and commemorating the anniversary of Colombia’s formal independence from Spain.
The three-masted sailing vessel is commanded by Captain Camilo Gutiérrez and manned by a 156-member crew, including cadets who learn to work as a team to raise the ship’s 23 sails, among other tasks.
