So this is what caused that power surge
On Wednesday morning, residents of Boston experienced what could be described as a power surge. Momentarily power went off then on causing Comcast to go out and problems on the MBTA. This caused people to wonder what the heck was going on. Well, mystery solved.
Eversouce confirmed that a sudden voltage drop at a substation near Andrew Square. This may have been caused by snow and ice buildup.
