coming soon

Castle Island is no longer just a destination – it’s potentially a delicious craft beer too!  Castle Island Brewing, Co. is hoping to make Southie its home in 2014 – which makes perfect sense.  South Boston is surrounded by breweries.  We’ve got the Boston Beer Company, Harpoon and even the new Trillium Brewery in Fort Point.  Not to mention the namesake landmark of the brewery is located in South Boston.

If Southie resident and owner of Castle Island Brewing, Adam Romanow gets his way, Southie will in fact be the brewery’s hometown.  According to the Boston Business Journal, Romanow is hunting for a 12,000 square foot spot in the ‘hood.  He’s primarily focusing his search in the Andrew Square industrial area – near Dot Ave. and Old Colony Ave.  Other areas being considered are Chelsea, Quincy, Everett and Malden.

Romanow hopes to open this summer.  Sounds delicious!  To check on their progress – follow them on twitter @cibrewing or visit http://castleislandbeer.com/main.html
