Around 1am on Friday, BPD, BFD and Boston EMS responded to call for a vehicle crashing into a building at the corner of West Broadway and Dorchester Street.  To be exact – McGoo’s Pizza at 479 West Broadway.  The driver of the vehicle was taken to an area hospital with injuries.

BFD Tech Rescue companies placed a temporary support load bearing column in place to shore up the building. Six people were safely evacuated.

Boston Inspection Services Department structural engineer was also on hand.
