The Scoop

The BFD and BPD responded to a call on Saturday morning that are car crashed into a building in the Stop and Shop parking lot.

An elderly man drove in reverse from the Rite Aid parking lot across the street and crashed his vehicle.

The man was treated on the seen by Boston EMS and is apparently doing fine.  Miraculously, no one was injured.

One of these days (at a date that will be upon me in the nearer than distant future) I will be an elderly driver myself, so I am trying to have compassion.  But, c’mon.  When it’s time to stop driving, people, please stop.  I support re-evaluations for all drivers over the age of 70.  Thank God no one was hurt, including the poor driver!

Where are all the townies complaining that this is just how it’s done in Southie and yuppies are ruining the neighborhood by complaining about such events?
