UPDATE:Michael Hazel, 29, of Fall River has been arrested in connection with the string of break-ins in South Boston.  He was arrested on Thursday after police were notified of a man an woman sleeping in the hallway of a building on West 9th St.  It was discovered that there was a warrant out for his arrest out of Fall River – also for charges of breaking and entering.  BPD are seeking additional charges for the break-ins in Southie.

According to a new report on NBC Boston, Boston police are looking for a “person of interest” in a string of break-ins in South Boston.  There are been a total of five break-ins in the area of the

Frederick, Old Harbor, Mercer and Gates.  Also one was reported on East Seventh Street.
