BPD Officers Arrest Suspect After Recovering Firearm, Drugs and Cash in South Boston

At about 9:32 AM on Saturday September 11, 2021, officers assigned to the District C-6 (South Boston) and District B-2 (Roxbury) Drug Control Units arrested Christopher Tinsley, 43, of South Boston following the execution of search warrants at the suspect’s residence. The suspect was placed in custody without incident after officers recovered an AR-15 rifle, approximately 24 grams of fentanyl, 42 oxycontin pills, brass knuckles, multiple knives and cash along with other evidence.

The suspect will appear in South Boston District Court on multiple charges including Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and Trafficking Class A Drugs.
