BPD Investigating Report of Gunfire Near Condon School in South Boston

A heavy police presence was spotted in South Boston on Friday afternoon after reports of gunfire in the area of Flaherty Way near D Street.
The incident took place close to the James F. Condon School and Orton Field, drawing a large response from officers. Thankfully, there have been no reports of injuries.
Police remained on scene for some time, with officers seen searching the area for evidence. According to a police spokesperson, ballistics evidence was recovered, but no additional details have been released.
The investigation is ongoing.
