Last week, Southie resident Michael Flaherty was attacked in Moakley Park last week late Tuesday night.  According to Fox 25, the BPD are investigating an incident that left park left Flaherty in the intensive care unit at Tufts Medical.

According to Brian Flaherty, brother of the victim,  Michael Flaherty was attacked while walking through the park.

 If anyone has information about the incident, that are asked to call Boston police.

    And they want to try to redevelop the mccormick housing complex as a quasi public-private housing complex? Looks like you cant even walk through the adjacent park at night without trouble, why would anyone buy a million dollar condo to be neighbors with these people?

    Ouch! Oh, no!

    Even though I’m not a Southie resident, I offer my condolences, and hope that Michael Flaherty is okay, and that he has a speedy recovery.

    The fact that people can act so viciously towards each other is beyond disgusting…and appalling, to boot.

    OMG that is truly awful.. hopefully he will recover physically as well as mentally.. Be careful out there everyone!
