The following police incident that unfolded on Tuesday morning in the neighborhood is bizarre even by Southie standards.  At approximately 10:45am, a call came into police for menacing group of construction workers jumping out of a pickup truck with crowbars heading towards a house on East Fifth Street between N and O.  Evidently they were looking for some sort of fight.  Some of the construction workers were shirtless too.  Hmmm….

At least a half a dozen police cruisers showed up on the scene.  The construction workers were questioned and some of them were “known” to police – for what we are not sure!  No arrests were made.
