BPD Community Alert: Seeking Public’s Assistance in Assault + Battery Investigation in South Boston

The Boston Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the individual shown in the accompanying images in connection with an ongoing assault and battery investigation, which you can view here. 

The incident occurred at approximately 2:00 AM on Sunday, August 17, 2025, in the area of Telegraph Street and Old Harbor Street in South Boston. Preliminary investigation indicates that the victim was walking up Telegraph Street toward Old Harbor Street when she observed the suspect following her. The suspect attempted to gain her attention by shouting before rushing toward her and pinning her against a vehicle. The suspect then restrained her arms in an effort to restrict her movement. The victim was able to scream, and when the suspect became distracted, she broke free and fled to safety.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 5’7” in height, medium build, tan complexion, with a black buzz cut. He was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt and dark clothing.

Detectives assigned to District C-6 (South Boston) are actively investigating the circumstances of this incident. Anyone with information is strongly urged to contact District C-6 Detectives at (617) 343-4742.

    Check around the new luxury housing being built for the unproductive members of society around Columbia Road and Dorchester Street. He isn’t working to pay rent or mortgage like the foolish taxpayers subsidizing Maura’s Mob. On the other hand, it might just be a cultural misunderstanding, because we do live in the safest city in America.
