The Boston Police Department would like to thank everyone who came out to enjoy the 118th Annual Saint Patrick’s Day Parade in South Boston yesterday. The members of the community who celebrated responsibly made the festive day memorable for all. During the course of the event, the BPD issued 128 citations for public drinking, two marijuana citations, three license premise violations and arrested three males on various charges:
A 17-year-old male from Easton was charged with Minor in Possession of Alcohol.
A 20-year-old male from Taunton was charged with Affray and Assault and Battery.
A 22-year-old male from Green Harbor was charged with Disorderly Conduct.
All arrestees have since been arraigned in South Boston District Court.
We are grateful to all of our officers and department members who worked hard to ensure the safety of the parade participants and spectators along the route. Once again, we thank everyone who helped to make this event the family focused day it’s intended to be.
