From BPD News:

At about 12:34 AM, on Thursday, April 30, 2020, Officers assigned to District C-6 (South Boston) made an on-site warrant arrest of Joseph Oliveira, 25 of New York, in the area of Wormwood Street.

The straight warrant was issued out of South Boston District Court for Breaking & Entering into a Building in the Nighttime with the Intent to Commit a Felony and Breaking and Entering into a Motor Vehicle in the Nighttime with the Intent to Commit a Felony. He is expected to be arraigned in South Boston District Court.

Circumstances surrounding the arrest are as follows:

At about 9:00 AM on Saturday, April 18, 2020, officers assigned to District C-6 (South Boston), responded to a radio call for a Breaking and Entering into a building in the area of 43 West 3rd Street. On arrival, it was revealed to officers that there was surveillance video of the same suspect the night before breaking into the garage by cutting the screen door to gain entrance. The suspect proceeded to walk around checking car doors. Surveillance footage showed the suspect enter at least two unlocked motor vehicles and steal various items.
