BPD and BFD Responded to A Water Rescue in Fort Point Channel – It was a false alarm

BPD and BFD responded to a call for a water rescue in the Fort Point Channel at Dorchester Avenue and Summer Street shortly before 5pm on Wednesday. It was called in as a vehicle in the water.
It ended up being a false alarm. Evidently, someone saw a license plate in the water and called 911 as a car in the water.
