In a statement, Mayor Marty Walsh said: ”I am proud that Boston is on Amazon’s shortlist for its second North American headquarters. As a thriving city with a talented and diverse workforce, culture of innovation and opportunity for all, I see no better city than Boston for Amazon to call their second home.”
So there you have it! What do you think about Amazon coming to Boston? Maybe they can take over GE’s proposed headquarters?
Them choosing Boston would a be negative for the city on an NPV basis. It’s also too bad we gave GE half the marbles we had to offer, we should try to claw some back.
