With a very light turnout on Tuesday at the polls, only 9% of registered voters, we realize you’re probably not that interested in the results but here they are for you civic-minded residents.

Here’s who advance to the final election on November 5th: Incumbent at-large city councilors Michelle Wu, Annissa Essaibi-George, Michael Flaherty and Althea Garrison in addition to the new candidates Alejandra Nicole St. Guillen, Julia Mejia, Erin J. Murphy and David Halbert for a total of 8 candidates.  Here’s the order they placed.  Image via twitter. 

Here are all the results below shown how the candidates appeared n the ballots.

ERIN J MURPHY — 9,385 (6.84%)

MICHELLE WU — 26,622 (19.41%)

PRISCILLA E FLINT-BANKS — 4,094 (2.98%)

ALTHEA GARRISON — 9,720 (7.09%)

MARTIN MARTY KEOGH — 6,246 (4.55%)

ALEJANDRA NICOLE STGUILLEN — 11,910 (8.68%)

MICHEL DENIS — 2,108 (1.54%)

ANNISSA ESSAIBI GEORGE — 18,993 (13.85%)

JEFFREY MICHAEL ROSS — 5,078 (3.70%)

DOMINGOS DAROSA — 2,840 (2.07%)

MICHAEL F FLAHERTY — 18,766 (13.68%)

HERB ALEXANDER LOZANO — 1,510 (1.10%)

WILLIAM A KING — 1,809 (1.32%)

DAVID HALBERT — 6,534 (4.76%)

JULIA MEJIA — 10,799 (7.87%)

Write-ins — 766 (0.56%)

The final election will take place on Tuesday, November 5th.  If you didn’t vote on Tuesday in the preliminary, you really should mark your calendar and plan to vote.  Boston City Council-at-Large members vote on things that affect you daily from traffic, parking, transit, trash, development and more.  So please vote.
