The Boston Cannons were showing off their Major League Lacrosse Trophy on Tuesday night at Moakely Park. Fans got to have their photos taken with the Steinfeld Trophy. A few of the Boston Cannons players were on hand as well.
Back in July, the Cannons had a 13-10 victory in the championship over the Denver Outlaws at Navy & Marine Corps Stadium in Annapolis. This was the Cannons’ first MLL crown since 2011, and only their second in the 20-years of the league.
The team’s home field is Veterans Memorial Stadium in Quincy.
Jerry Marshman, 6, a first-grader at South Boston Catholic Academy was very excited to see the trophy and meet some of the players!
