A young woman was hit and killed by a van in South Boston.
CBS Local is reporting that a woman and a man were hit by a car at the intersection of Melcher and Summer streets on Wednesday night.
Both the man and woman were rushed to the hospital where the woman later died. BPD is reporting she was between the ages of 20 and 30 years old. The man is about the same age and sent to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The diver of the van did stop and stayed at the scene.
