A 14-year-old from Dot and a 12-year-old from Southie attempt to rob a smoke shop downtown.

From BPD News:
At about 1:20 AM, on Friday, June 9, 2023, officers assigned to District A-1 (Downtown), responded to a radio call for a commercial alarm at the Blue Moon Smoke Shop located at 145 Tremont Street in Boston.
Upon arrival, officers observed the glass to the front door of the store to be damaged with cracks throughout. Officers also observed two cement like rocks in front of the store. Once inside, officers observed two male juveniles, who were actively loading merchandise into their backpacks. They were later identified as a 14-year-old from Dorchester and a 12-year-old from South Boston,
After further investigation, and reviewing store surveillance footage, officers recovered approximately $1,000.00 of stolen merchandise inside of the two backpacks. Both Juveniles were placed under arrest and charged with; Delinquent to wit; Breaking and Entering a Building with Intent to Commit a Felony. They will both be arraigned at Boston Juvenile Court.
