4-year-old girl struck and killed by car on Congress Street in Fort Point

BPD is reporting that A four-year-old girl has died after being struck by a vehicle Sunday afternoon in South Boston.
The crash happened around 5pm on Sunday at the intersection of Congress Street and Sleeper Street. The girl was with family members. She was rushed by Boston EMS to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
The driver of the vehicle that hit the child stayed on scene. No charges were filed or arrests made.
