311 of the Day: Someone put a cone out on Sunday in Southie after a dusting.

Hey, the jerk store called.

On Sunday, one South Boston resident took to 311 after a neighbor put out a cone to hold a parking spot after a dusting of snow, using description like “moron” “entitled” and “clowns” to describe the culprit.

Come on!  Rule #1 – The City of Boston has to declare a snow emergency in order to save a parking space after a snowstorm.  Rule #2 – you must shovel.  There was zero shoveling on Sunday.  Maybe you needed to use a snow brush to clean off your car but you certainly did not need to shovel.

Here’s a refresher for the Unofficial Rules for Saving a Spot After a Snowstorm.

Be a considerate neighbor. Don’t be THAT guy.

Take the cone and throw it far from the spot if they did not shovel.
