3 men arrested, 3 kilo of fentanyl confiscated at South Bay
On Friday, three men were arrested on drug charges after police confiscated more than three kilograms of fentanyl at the South Bay Mall.
After several months of investigation, Massachusetts State Police Detective Unit for Suffolk County, along with the members of the federal Homeland Security Investigations Boston Strike Force arrested Pablo Alberto Arias Herrera, 47, of Dorchester, Omar Medina-Santiago, 31, of Roslindale, and Julio Missael Ramirez Peguero, 26, of Roslindale, at the South Bay Mall and found three duct-taped bricks of fentanyl in backpacks.
The men were transported to State Police-South Boston, where they were each booked on charges of trafficking a Class A substance and conspiracy to violate drug laws.
