Yikes! There was not one but two liquor store holds up over the past few days. According to Universal Hub The Liquor and Wine Emporium at 336 K St., was held up at gunpoint around 10 p.m. The description of the suspect is a white male, about 6′ medium build, in a black ski mask and all black clothes.
According to Southie Scanner, that description matches a suspect in another liquor store hold up on Christmas morning (honestly) at Jimmy’s Korner at P&6th.
Be careful out there!
What a shame. both stores are owned by the same person-a good guy who supports local youth programs.
I think the real news is that Jimmy’s was open on XMAS. File under “good to know”
Why don’t we see this on the local news? Maybe it might affect the property values? What other crimes are we not being told about?
we are the local news!
What is the incentive for larger news stations to report on crime in the projects? It’s like calling the kettle black. Violent Crime in the Wealthy burbs & in nonviolent crime areas are what draws eyeballs. Smaller media outlets like this one will cover it because it’s local & theres only so much to write about when you cover a small geography like Maureen does.
What about the “porch pirate” shot on West 7th Street last week?
Damn yuppies at it again! GET “EM OUTTA HERE!
No “yuppies” are robbing liquor stores you stupid ignorant fuck.
Just a little innocent sarcasm, Neil :)
Not funny. Times change. Get over it and deal with it.
Jerkoff, we’ll never get over it, YOU get over it, and if you don’t like it then move the F%$k out. Remember , we were here first.!!!!
