17-year-old arrested + loaded gun recovered on Flaherty Way in South Boston
From BPD News:
At about 8:22 PM on Thursday, August 4, 2023, officers assigned to C-6 (South Boston) made an onsite arrest and recovered a loaded firearm in the area of Flaherty Way, South Boston. While on patrol, officers observed a group of juveniles in a hallway and heard a female voice yelling that she was going to call the cops. Officers entered the hallway and observed an elderly woman utilizing a walker at the end of the hallway. At that time, a 17-year-old juvenile male pushed past the elderly woman and ran out the door grabbing his waste area. O’Flaherty Way?!?
No doubt from an old-school Southie family that was “temporarily relocated” with assurances that they could return to the neighborhood “after the renovations are completed”.
Sure.
