1000 Turkeys Distributed to Neighborhood Families in Need
On Friday, Hilco Redevelopment Partners (HRP)donated and distributed 1,000 Thanksgiving turkeys to underserved families in Boston.
HRP collaborated with local, women-owned food purveyor Dole & Bailey to provide the organic turkeys, and working in partnership with the South Boston Association of Non-Profits to distribute them to families before Thanksgiving. HRP is the owner and developer of 776 Summer Street, a 1.68 million square foot redevelopment of the former Boston Edison power plant.
This donation is part of a nationwide effort by HRP to provide for families in need this Thanksgiving—the company will also be donating 1,000 turkeys each to communities in Chicago, Philadelphia and Richmond, CA. The initiative is part of HRP’s ongoing support for causes and not-for-profit organizations that help improve the lives of those in need.
