Bottega

Bottega arrived at the corner of K and East Broadway, bringing a new neighborhood spot to the former Cranberry Cafe space. If you haven’t checked it out yet, add it to your Southie list.

Hamersley’s Pantry

Hamersley’s Pantry opened at 341 West Broadway in February and quickly became a fun neighborhood stop for snacks, sweets, prepared foods, flowers, pantry finds, and gifts. It’s also a great place to grab something when you’re heading to a dinner party and don’t want to show up empty-handed.

Common Craft

Common Craft officially opened at 85 Damrell Street this spring. The restaurant features James Beard Award-winning chef Tony Messina as Chef Partner, plus a food-forward menu, cocktails, and The Stillroom tucked inside.

Si Cara

Pizza, anyone? Si Cara opened at 400 West Broadway in January, bringing Chef Michael Lombardi’s canotto-style pizza to South Boston. The original Si Cara is in Cambridge, and now Southie has one of its own.

Mother’s East Tavern

Located at 289 Dorchester Street, Mother’s East Tavern brings the feel of a classic English and Irish pub to Southie with an American twist. Led by Chef/Partner David Quinlan, the menu features elevated tavern favorites like anchovy toast, crudo, a proper burger, shepherd’s pie, and a scotch egg, plus well-made classic cocktails and pints — all served in a warm, cozy space designed to feel like a longtime neighborhood bar.

PickleBOS

Pickleball officially arrived in Southie with the opening of PickleBOS at 379R Dorchester Ave. The massive indoor pickleball club features 11 professional courts, open play, leagues, lessons and clinics, plus a pro shop, lounge, full bar, event space, and free onsite parking — making it a spot to play, learn, and socialize year-round.

Moki Sauna

Moki Sauna opened at 385 Dorchester Ave., bringing a modern sauna and cold plunge experience to Southie. The Nordic-inspired wellness spot features cedar saunas, cold plunges, lounge spaces, and outdoor firepits — all designed to help you reset, recharge, and reconnect.

Anna’s Taqueria

A Boston favorite officially made its way to Southie! Anna’s Taqueria opened at 457 West Broadway in May, bringing its famous burritos, tacos, quesadillas, bowls, and salads to the neighborhood. The new 3,000-square-foot location is Anna’s 14th outpost and features communal tables, booths, and plenty of seating to enjoy your burrito right there.

Dalia + the Leopard Lounge

Located at 429 West Broadway, Dalia brings a Spanish-inspired, wood-fired dining experience to Southie. The menu features tapas, crudo, paella, grilled meats and seafood, plus cocktails, sangria, and Spanish wines — and when dinner is over, head downstairs to Leopard Lounge, the restaurant’s moody underground cocktail lounge where the lights are low and the drinks take center stage.

Club Golden

Get your glow on at Club Golden! Located at 321 West Broadway, this woman-owned tanning studio offers tanning sessions and custom spray tans in a chic, welcoming space — perfect for a little year-round sunshine right here in Southie.

Brick Street Bagels

After building a loyal following through pop-ups around Boston, Brick Street Bagels finally has a permanent home in Southie at 371 West Broadway. Stop by for its hand-rolled bagels, schmears, breakfast and open-faced sandwiches, plus coffee — and yes, the rosemary sea salt bagel is definitely worth a try.

Reunion

A familiar corner got a new life when Reunion opened at A Street and West Broadway in the former Mul’s Diner space. The neighborhood cafe serves coffee, breakfast, and lunch made with fresh, local ingredients — and judging by the opening-day lines, Southie was ready for it.

Agavero Guac & Margs

Located right by Broadway Station at 11B West Broadway, Agavero Guac & Margs brought a taste of Guadalajara to Southie. The family-owned and operated restaurant serves Mexican favorites, margaritas, and plenty of guac.

BUDA SNKRS & APPAREL

Southie added some new style to the neighborhood with BUDA SNKRS & APPAREL at 130 Dorchester Ave. The shop specializes in sneakers, streetwear, and apparel.

Kahaani on Broadway

Kahaani on Broadway has taken over the former Worden Hall space at 22 West Broadway, bringing bold Indian flavors to Southie. The menu features everything from butter chicken, biryani, and tikka masala to tandoori dishes and Mediterranean-inspired plates, plus a full cocktail and wine program, all served in a vibrant new space.
