(Step 1. Repeat after us: Ship, ship, hooray!)

In case you haven’t heard, the complete, towering fleet of Tall Ships is headed for the city’s shorelines this weekend. And with their arrival will come thousands of tourists, street closures, and packed, sauna-like T platforms—the excitement is real! But while braving all the above to see said gigantic vessels is an absolute must (it is actually worth it), waiting in line for a waterfront bar or city-led celebration, probably isn’t (read: it’s 100% not). At least, not when you can throw a Tall Ships-themed party from the comfort of your own couch. The best part? Prep is minimal. A quick trip to the store—grocery and liquor—and a decent guest list is all that’s required. Check it out:

The Bar Snacks: (Gold)Fish & Chips

Seaweed (spinach) dip

Pour filtered water into a large drink dispenser and label.
