Built in 1950, this single family is located at 244 L Street and features three bedrooms, one bath, garage parking and lots and lots of land around it.
Is the 1440 square foot home worth the $2.5 million they are asking? Probably not, but the property is and hence the price tag.
We have a feeling there is going to be a lot of neighborhood opposition if/when a developer proposes to tear it down and build out to the foot print multiple units in a four-story building.
But we shall see!

A school teacher owned this house originally.. that’s a crazy price .. you bet a developer will tear it down and build an estheicilly unappealing monument, to get back their investments.
My family home was in Southie for over 70yrs and we always were told it was built for a disabled Vet in the 70s, a gift from the then residents of SB
