Hotel Approved, Now Up for Sale: Southie Lot Hits the Market for $6.5M

A site in South Boston where a 72-room hotel has been approved for construction is listed for sale for $6.5M.
According to the Boston Business Journal, the site stands directly across from the back parking lot for the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center – at 330 C Street.
City Realty first proposed the hotel to city officials in 2022, and the Boston Planning and Development Agency approved it a year later.
The BBJ reports that a study released in March estimated that 800 to 1,000 more hotel rooms are needed in the Seaport to support an expansion of the BCEC. A larger BCEC would back up immediately next to the C Street hotel.
