Developer files a notice of project change for a 10-story life science building at 2 Harbor Street
Universal Hub is reporting that Beacon Capital Partners filed a notice of project change with the BPDA for a ten-story life-sciences lab building at 2 Harbor Street. This new development will be part of the 4.4-acre South Boston Innovation Campus at the Flynn Marine Park.
The plans call for changing the 325 total parking spaces that the BPDA already approved by putting a 200-space garage under the building already under construction, with a second 125-space garage under the proposed building.
The plans also state that the new building will have a ground-floor cafe and retail space. The developers will also help improve transportation and infrastructure by paying $4.29 per square foot to repave Channel Street, improve sidewalks, and more.
