The South Boston Leadership Initiative will be hosting a Youth Fitness Program this summer to be held at Farragut Park (and surrounding areas), and will meet every morning, Monday thru Thursday, outside of the Murphy Rink. The program is FREE and open to anyone between the ages of 12-18, and it’s in partnership with the DCR’s Save the Harbor/Save the Bay organization.

Highlights include:

• 7 weeks (July 8th-August 22nd)
• Monday through Thursday
• Group 1: Ages 15-18 (7:30am-8:30am)
• Group 2: Ages 12-14 (8:30am-10:00am)

This specialized program, led by an experienced staff, will look to use fitness and nutrition as a means of instilling healthy lifestyles to the youth in South Boston. While focusing on everything from flexibility to nutrition to sport-specific weight training, each participant will improve not just physically but mentally as well as we head into the Summer months. Farragut Park and the beachfront should provide the perfect setting to enjoy a successful Summer!
