Eat:
Try Fort Point’s newest favorite – Pastoral! The much anticipated wood fire pizzeria will feature lunch, dinner and a full bar with 20 beers on tap.  In the warmer weather, garage doors and large windows will open up to the street. This 140 seat restaurant will be family friendly and eventually have take-out and delivery service.  Chef/owner Todd Winer has received certification from the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana as an official Pizzaiolo – so you know it’s gonna be delicious.  Perfect spot for a date night or for bringing the kids.  Open daily, 11:30 a.m.-3 p.m. & 5 p.m.-1 a.m. at 345 Congress Street in Fort Point.

Drink:
Raise your glass of wine!  Join the Stephi’s in Southie Wine Club! Donate:
Give Blood!  The K Street Firehouse will be hosting a blood drive for Mass General Hospital.   The event takes place from 11am-4:30pm.   To sign up you can call Molly Casper at 617-997-9381.  Walk-ins are welcome too!

Art:
Take an art tour!  The South Boston artists community wants you to come on out to The Distillery (516 East Second St.) on Sunday, June 1st from 12noon to 6pm.   Meet the artists and ?check out what’s new in the local arts scene ?during South Boston Open Studios.  We hear this is going to be one the biggest spring open studios  with over 40 studios open in two locations, along with five neighborhood galleries, that’s a lot of art! Kids Club:
The Club at George Foreman III is proud to introduce the Kids Club – a fun fitness program for kids!   Learn the fundamentals of boxing fitness at the BOXFIIT Circuit Class, BAG Work Classes and more! It’s an awesome way for kids to learn discipline, team training principles and group workouts. Hour-long kids classes are scheduled for Saturday and Sunday afternoons from 2pm-3pm and each member (student and parents) are allowed to take classes together or individually. Tune-up:
Enjoy a complimentary tune-up for your bike by Southie’s favorite bike shop, My Bike – along with Factory 63 and 315 on A Street.  This free event happens on Thursday, May 29th from 6pm-8pm at 315 on A Street – Pastine Alley.  Get ready for bike season!

Field Trip:
Calling all Mounties!
