The word is out – Sullivan’s Castle Island is open for their 63rd season.  Enjoy half price hotdogs through Sunday, March 2nd – which is our excuse to get two dogs all around!  Another favorite on the menu?  Their lobster roll – packed with fresh lobster meat for just $10.95. 

Drink:
Row 34( 383 Congress Street) has opened its doors in Fort Point to rave reviews.  This comfortable and lively neighborhood spot features seafood, an oyster bar and an amazing craft beer selection.  Their bartenders are knowledgable in beer department and can help you pick one to your taste – they even have gluten-free beers! Row 34 is open 7 days a week for lunch, brunch and dinner. 

Shop:

Support:
Show your love and support for Whitney! On February 20th, South Boston resident Whitney Hardy was hit by a car at the intersection of I and Day Blvd. while out for her evening run. While the extent of her injuries and their lasting effects remain unknown, one certainty is that Whitney is in for a long, difficult road to recovery.  As a means to support Whitney, and her fiance Dan and their families, the #FightHardy movement has started and they need your help, Southie! Bingo:
This ain’t your Nana’s Bingo! Laugh:
Dot girl Sue Costello (and MSJA Class of ’86 – go Mounties!) will be in town to perform her one night only comedy show.  Making appearances in The Fighter, a local cult classic “Southie”, Last Comic Standing and Fox’s Costello, this funny lady will be performing on Saturday, March 1st at Florian Hall (55 Hallet Street in Dorchester).  Tickets are $25 when you buy online at http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/575017 or $30 at the door.  Doors open at 7pm and show begins at 8:30.   It promises to be a hilariously entertaining show!
