Social Wines (52 West Broadway) wants to help you shake things up this weekend when it comes to cocktails on the lighter-side!  Resident mixologist John has some suggestions like mixing Campari with soda water air Amaro with a splash of soda.  “Both of these “bitters” are loaded with botanicals and less than half the alcohol of vodka or gin. Which you might think is not a good thing, but when you’re at a cocktail party or summer BBQ you can have a few more cocktails and extend your evening without embarrassing yourself. Oh and also feel better in the morning. And if you don’t like bitter liqueurs try mixing in some fresh orange juice or lemonade with the soda water,” says John.  Stop by and see what other wines, beers and cocktails they recommend!
