November 22nd

Eat:
Have you tried Nebo (520 Atlantic Ave) yet?  Located on Atlantic Avenue, Nebo serves up some delicious italian food including handmade pastas, pizzas and specialties like the Zucchini Lasagna – the Bobby Flay Throwdown winner.  Make a plan to have dinner there this weekend!

Drink:
Join Sustainable Business Network of Massachusetts’ (SBN) for the 4th Annual Local Craft Brewfest at the Moakley U.S. Courthouse located on Southie’s waterfront – where the city meets the sea. Come taste, explore, socialize, and network with local craft brewers, distillers, cideries, meaderies, artisan beverage brewers, and food producers. While celebrating local brews, you can savor live music by local musicians and enjoy one of Boston’s finest harbor views. The Brewfest will be held on Friday, November, 22nd  from 6:00PM – 9:30PM.  To purchase tickets visit: http://www.eventbrite.com/e/sbns-4th-annual-local-craft-brewfest-on-boston-waterfront-fort-point-tickets-6516959401  Note: No tickets will be sold at the door.

Movember:
Atlantic Beer Garden (146 Northern Ave.) is getting in on the mustache madness that is Movember.  On Friday, November 22nd, enjoy swag like pint glasses, t-shirts, koozies.  You could also win a free trip to Ireland and ABG gift cards.  The fun begins at 5:30pm.  Don’t forget your mustache.

Shop:
The shopping season is upon us, and South Boston boutiques have their doors wide open for business. Check out this list of locations in South Boston where shoppers can find merchandise to satisfy all recreational retail and holiday shopping needs:https://caughtinsouthie.com/shop/shopping-expedition

Stretch:
Thoughts of the holidays getting you stressed out.  Restore your flow at Radiant Yoga – Southie’s newest yoga studio located at 516 East Second Street – The Distillery.  Offering up classes like Candlelight Flow, Heated Flow, community classes and even a new class for single moms.  We’ve tried Tiffany’s All Levels class on Saturdays at 11am – and the hour and a half class is a perfect balance of strength and stretch.  We left class recharged and rejuvenated.  For more information or for a class schedule visit: http://radiantyogaboston.com/

See it:
We realize it’s not even Thanksgiving yet, but if you’re one of those people that really love Christmas, then head to Faneuil Hall on Saturday, November 23rd. Santa arrives at noon (really you’d think he’d be busy this time of year), then Mayor Menino lights the 80 foot tree and Christmas carols commence.  Singer Paula Cole will be there along with Keith Lockhart and the Tanglewood Festival Chorus.  This event will also kick off the season of BLINK! a 350,00 light and sound display.
