Once again, it’s a sports lover’s dream weekend with the triple action of the Sox, the B’s and the Pats.  Red Sox face the Tigers on Thursday night at 8pm, Saturday at 8pm and (maybe but we hope not) Sunday at 8pm.  The Bruins play the Panthers on Thursday at 7:30 and Saturday they face the Tampa Lightning at 7pm.  The Pats goes head to head with the Jets at 1pm on Sunday.  We’re not sure if our heart can take this much sports excitement!  Wondering where to watch the game?  We’ve got some suggestions! https://caughtinsouthie.com/restaurants-bar/7-places-watch-game

On your mark, get set, go! The Retired Boston Police Officer’s Association will be hosting a very special, free Comedy Magic Show featuring Matt Roberts Astonishing Magic & Illusion Act on Friday, October 18th.  This family friendly event will start at 7pm at the Curley Community Center.  Admission is FREE! Family Pick:
The Perry Fall Festival! The Oliver H. Perry School (745 East Seventh Street) is hosting a special family friendly fundraiser.  The second annual fall festival will take place on Saturday, October 19th from 1pm-4pm at the Perry Schoolyard.  There will be lots of fun activities including a bouncy castle, pony rides, face painting, pumpkin decorating, games, food and music.  Admission is $5.  Additional tickets sold at door for different festival activities and chances to win raffle prizes. All proceeds go to the Perry School.
