Eat:
Since the Marathon bombing, Forum has been closed for business.  Finally it opens its doors with an updated interior and new menu fresh on Friday, August 16th for dinner at 5pm.  Show your support and welcome them back! 755 Boylston Street

Drink:

Play:
Sticks and pucks.  The South Boston Youth Hockey League is hosting an informational meeting about their new and improved organization.  Stop by the Neighborhood House (136 H Street) on Sunday, August 18th at 6:30pm to get the scoop and sign your kid up!

Shop:
Who doesn’t love a good old fashioned yard sale?  On Sunday, August 18th shop till you drop at 45 Middle Street from 11am-1pm.  Featuring such items as : Lg 5 piece Dinning room set $40, Punching Bag w/frame $50, 27″TV $50, TV $30, Malm Ikea desk $40,  Canopy Tent $45, Pictures, shelves,?Vases, Kitchen ware, Exercise Equipment & DVD’s and more.  Everything must go!

Watch:

Family night:

Head to the Boston Harbor Hotel at Rowes Wharf and enjoy a classic crowd-pleaser at their outdoor theater.  Each summer the harborside terrace is transformed into an outdoor cinema under the stars from June through August. The movie begins at sunset and is free and open to the public.  We recommend getting their a little early to find a spot.   The movie this week is Mary Poppins – who doesn’t love Mary Poppins – we dare you not to sing along to Supercalafragalisticexpialadoshus!

Taste:
Social Wines (52 West Broadway) is taking a trip around the world during Friday’s wine tasting. It’s a “Where in the world am I from?” tasting. It will be a blind tasting of five wines from around the world to experience global flavor at its finest and get to know a “taste of place”. Tasting happens from 5:30-8pm.
