July 19th

Eat:
Sully’s (at Castle Island) just doesn’t sell hot dogs!  They now have a lobster roll on their menu and from what we hear it’s delicious.  The lobster roll is packed with fresh lobster meat and served on a grilled roll for just $9.95.  Tell Chris Lane we said hi!

Drink:
It’s National Daiquiri Day – so why not make it Daiquiri weekend.  Head to the waterfront, catch a breeze, and enjoy a frozen drink at Atlantic Beer Garden (148 Seaport Blvd.) roof deck.

Play:
Relive your childhood and play some good old fashioned games on the Rose Kennedy Greenway.  Enjoy classic backyard games like badminton, bocce jump rope and tetherball. The fun happens at the Wharf District and Dewey Square Parks.

Watch:
The rivalry of all rivals.  The Red Sox take on the New York Yankees this weekend!   First game is Friday at 7pm at home.  They play the Fox game of the week on Saturday at 4pm and then round up the weekend on Sunday night at 8pm.  Go Sox!  Wondering where to watch the game visit:

Family Pick:
Enjoy a free family fun night at the Walsh Center including hot dogs, hamburgers and a movie on Saturday, July 20th at 6:30pm.  This event is open to the public and brought to you by the good people of the Gavin Foundation!

Ice Cream:
Cool off with some ice cream.  Waiting around for the ice cream truck to show up is so last year!  Get it delivered to your door with a click of an app. In honor of National Ice Cream Month, Uber Boston, will have ice cream trucks at the ready for Uber users.   Users can purchase 5 ice creams for $30 and get some free Uber Swag too.   The trucks will be on the road from 11am to 5pm on Friday and available just by clicking the Uber App.  New Uber users can dowload the app and enter the promo code ICECREAM for $20 off your first time rides!

Paddle:
Looking to try something new and exciting this summer?  SUP (Stand Up Paddleboard) sonas is now offers paddleboard lessons and tours from A Street on the channel.   The skilled instructors will give you a lesson and have you up and paddling in no time.  If you consider yourself an experienced paddler then take a guided on-hour tour out in the harbor.  Be on the lookout for SUP’s social outings including a one-way paddle to Castle Island then to Del Frisco’s for appetizers and drinks.   They can also customize special group packages for bachelorette or birthday parties. Sound like fun to us!   For more information visit www.SUPsonas.com or email [email protected]
