Drink:
Finally, Moko (674 East Broadway) is serving beer and wine.  After much anticipation, Southie’s newest sushi spot now has beer and wine on their menu.  Sushi+wine/beer=bliss.  ?

Eat:
With the chill of fall upon us, by instinct we crave comfort food.  Head to Amrhein’s (80 West Broadway) for their famous Pumpkin Risotto.  It’s back in all its rich and deliciousness and we guaranteed you’ll feel instantly comforted with the first bite.  (Bonus: it’s served in a real hollowed out pumpkin!)

You’ve seen the flyers around town (and the handsome fellas handing them out).  On Thursday, October 18th a community meeting will be held to discuss the ongoing Boston Public School Quality Choice Plan.  Almost 40 years later after forced busing, steps are being made to improve the current policy and standards of the Boston Public School system. This is an opportunity to learn the facts and voice your opinion.  This meeting takes place at 6pm at the Condon School (200 D Street).

Run:
Participate in the Mt. Washington Bank Annual 5K Run/Walk on Sunday, October 21st at 10am.  Overlooking Dorchester Bay and Carson Beach, this very scenic, flat, 5K begins at the DCR’s Day Blvd. and heads out toward Castle Island, before looping back to start/finish.  $20 registration fee.  For more information and to register online visit: http://www.mtwashingtonbank.com/
