Weekend Picks
February 14th
Eat:
It’s Valentine’s Weekend and whether you are spending it alone or with someone special here are our picks for Southie spots with romance on the menu: https://caughtinsouthie.com/restaurants-bar/romance-menu
Drink:
Pour one out for Shirley Temple. Child superstar legend Shirley Temple died this week at the age of 85. Celebrate her life, her singing and dancing and her curls, with her signature mocktail – The Shirley Temple. The sweet concoction of ginger ale (or Sprite), grenadine and garnished with a Maraschino cherry, can always be made a little more “adult” by adding your favorite vodka. We call that one a Dirty Shirley.
Shop:
Date night! Whether you have a hot date or are looking for a hot date, Habit ‘s (703 East Broadway) got a slew of new “date night” tops perfect with jeans or a pencil skirt. They also have an amazing inventory of statement jewelry like bold necklaces and gorgeous beaded earrings.
