Pssst….here’s a Southie secret.

A little bird told us that they will be filming a scene for the HBO miniseries, Olive Kitteridge, at Cafe Arpeggio’s on West Broadway.  Frances McDormand stars as the namesake main character and Tom Hanks is the executive producer.  The series is set in a New England town and has been filming on the North Shore for the past few months.  Although they are filming in Southie, the series itself has nothing to do with our hometown.

Let us know if you sneak a peek or snap a pic!

Special thank you to Jen Gordon – go visit her at Southie’s Own!

Frances also won the Tony for playing a Southie Woman in Southie’s own David Lindsay Abaire’s  “Good People”.
