Take your Southie Pride
and hang it on a wall
As we here at Caught in Southie are well aware of, when one moves away from South Boston, it has a way of staying with you. One former Southie girl, Malena Luongo from East Third Street, moved to the greener pastures of the L.A., but Southie was always in her heart. Her love of her hometown inspired her to create an original print to represent her favorite childhood places.
“I wanted to stay connected to my roots in Southie so I created a poster to hang in my apartment. When I posted the picture on Facebook, everyone loved it, so I opened and Etsy shop and put them up for sale.” And we’re glad she did!
This poster would make the perfect gift for Southie residents past and present. We love it!

Love the graphic. It’s very attractive. Unfortunately, there is a very common mistake in it. The former name of Moakley Park is Columbus Park, not Columbia Park.
I just wish there wasn’t a “Southie High” on it…for I didn’t go there. But other than that, it is very cool.

I love it… I am going to order one this evening!
Best of luck with sales!
She can customize each print to your liking. You don’t have to get the exact one in the picture.
We aways called it Columbia Park.
I’ve lived here for over 50 years and have always called it Columbia Park.
