can’t wait to watch and see Southie portrayed in the trashiest way possible, thanks A&E!  (sarcasm font)

Um, no, I am not going to tune in.  I wouldn’t watch it if my remote was stuck on A&E, the set was on with no shut off switch and my TV screen was glued to my glasses..

We’re sorry you feel that way; we understand if you have to move somewhere else.

    Best Regards,

I am looking forward to seeing Southie Rules. The show is a comedy similar to modern family with a Southie spin on it. Come on people!!!! Its a total comedy satire. Reality TV has some fabrication to it.

Some folks need to really lighten up and get a sense of humor. This family will be laughing all the way to the bank while the uptight negative folks will still be working their day to day boring jobs and living in their 900 square foot flats with no parking.

    Wishing the familiar much success.

Willing to bet this family couldn’t define “satire” if you paid them, not sure if you could either.  Speaking of paying them, I doubt they’ll be laughing all the way to the bank.  Sure some reality “stars” like Bethany Frankel and the Situation make millions, but most don’t make enough to quit their “boring day jobs”.

From the commercials I’ve seen, this show actually looks funny. I’ll give it a shot, why not? It’s just a TV show lol.

Your 25 years to late on this series . These people are new comers and just want to try to be stars

This show is going to be awesome. I can’t wait to see it! How are you people hating on it already? Based off of 25 second commercials with each of them saying a few words? And your not going to watch the show? Funny how you take time out of your day to negatively comment on these descriptions of the show if your not even going to tune in. Southie rules will be a hit!

I just hope that it does not put a negative spin on the place I call home but I can’t imagine it doesn’t seeing that boring does not sell.

Can we really be worried about Southie’s image ??? LOL…. Take a look back at the history. Today South Boston is a fun and a great place to live, but if the town can survive busing, Whitey, and even as far back as Mayor Curley. I think a reality TV show is pretty mild compared to the past. Can’t wait to see the show.

I for one can’t wait to watch this show and support a GREAT Southie Family! I don’t see why people think this is a bad thing.. Brings money into our town, its a positive spin on all the negativity crap we are “known for”, and someone was going to do it.. might as well be someone real.

It’s like honey boo boo with out the honey.

Where is there tattoo parlor btw?  Last week they shut down an application for one in Southie.  All the politicians came out against it saying it wasnt right for Southie…..I am guessing Framingham.

The person who consistently uses the title “Southie Rules” in his post basically posts sales pitches for the show. (also uses !!!)

It’s a marketing guy for the show.  I’ll bet ya a buck.

.At least be clever and mix up your style

its going to put southie in the lime light it shouldnt be in by not filming the real southie people from the 80s 90s

The show reminds me of All in the family from the 70’s era. I live in a very quiet home and there is no way I could stand people yelling, slapping and insulting each other all day and all night in my home. It would be more interesting if it showed the famly giving their time to the community and showing their good side. If I wanted all that excitement I woud open a doggie daycare, and bring in some cats and squirrels for entertainment.
