From the Snowport Holiday Market and Light Up Seaport to Curling and Yeti Sightings, Seaport’s Seasonal Sparkle Is Back and Bigger Than Ever
Boston, MA – October 30, 2025 – It’s officially Snowport season in Boston Seaport when the waterfront transforms into a wonderland straight out of a holiday snow globe. The always vibrant neighborhood becomes a joy-filled festive destination with one-of-a-kind gifts, public art, delicious food, and unforgettable seasonal events. At the heart of it all is the Snowport Holiday Market Presented by Constant Contact, returning for its fifth year bigger and brighter, and joined by the ninth annual Light Up Seaport Presented by Citizens, the neighborhood’s tree lighting and concert tradition that marks the height of the holiday season. Citizens joins Snowport and Light Up Seaport as the first-ever Official Bank sponsor.
Now in its seventh year, Snowport—Seaport’s winter alter ego—has grown into a must-visit holiday destination for both locals and visitors, offering something for everyone throughout the season. Highlights include Snowport Curling Lanes brought to you by Mass General Brigham Health Plan, freshly cut trees and evergreens at the Snowport Tree Market, the beloved Light Up Seaport Presented by Citizens on December 5, the community Menorah Lighting on December 21, and appearances by Betty the Yeti, the neighborhood’s larger-than-life mascot who returns from the Himalayas each year to spread her pink cheer.

Après at The Current
Now open for its 18th season, Après at The Current brings a ski–inspired twist to Boston Seaport’s signature retail village. With boutiques wrapped in punchy patterns and playful shapes, this year’s theme blends cozy mountain vibes with a winter disco aesthetic. It’s nostalgic, unexpected, and 100% photogenic. This season’s nine pop-ups are all female-owned and fully gift-worthy. Snowport Holiday Market Presented by Constant Contact
The fifth annual Snowport Holiday Market Presented by Constant Contact returns to Boston Seaport, offering an unforgettable shopping and dining experience. Featuring over 125 small businesses, 88% of which are BIPOC- and/or women-owned—the market highlights a curated collection of gifts, apparel, home goods, and gourmet delights. Guests can explore 20 festive food and beverage concepts, from luxe hot chocolate and handmade dumplings to après ski–style cocktails served at four themed bars: The Jingle Bar, The Dizzy Dreidel, Betty’s Bar, and The Blizzard Bar. Sip and snack under The Warming Tent by JetBlue. (The heated tent from JetBlue provides beer garden style seating and is also available for private and semi-private events.) The Snowport Scholarship Program also returns, offering funding, mentorship, and marketing support to 12 underrepresented small businesses supported by Constant Contact. Snowport Curling Lanes Brought to You by Mass General Brigham Health Plan
Go ahead, and give it a curl. Enjoy complimentary iceless curling at Snowport along Harbor Way brought to you by Mass General Brigham Health Plan. Curlers can book daily curling outings with friends, or sign up for lessons. The North End Curling Club will provide complimentary Learn to Curl classes on select Saturdays from 2pm – 4pm. The Guest Services Gondola, staffed with Snowport ambassadors, will be on-hand to assist with activities. Snowport Tree Market
In partnership with Christmas Tree 4 Me, the Snowport Tree Market is located down the block from the Holiday Market at 99 Autumn Lane, just off Harbor Way, selling holiday trees, wreaths, and kissing balls, as well as tree stands and lights. Shoppers will be able to purchase and load trees directly into their vehicles, or they can schedule a local delivery right to their homes. And at the end of the season, shoppers can schedule removal of their trees to be recycled with goat- and pig-powered recycling. Open seven days a week. |

Light Up Seaport Presented by Citizens
On Friday, December 5, Boston’s largest holiday tree, standing 52 feet tall and adorned with over 10,000 twinkling lights, will be lit at this magical event. Light Up Seaport Presented by Citizens is a highly anticipated celebration marking the ninth annual Seaport tree lighting and promises an evening of festive cheer and live entertainment on Seaport Common. “Snowport has become a must-experience winter tradition for the local community and Citizens is committed to helping attendees create holiday moments that matter,” said Mark Valentino, Head of Business Banking at Citizens. “Light Up Seaport brings the community together year after year and shines a light on what makes Boston home.” The program, hosted by Cheermeisters Ashlee Feldman & Herv JeanBaptiste, will feature performances on Seaport Common by Lourde Childs, The Gracenotes, and additional surprise acts. CeleBETTY Sightings
After a summer of rest and relaxation in the Himalayas, Betty the Yeti, Snowport’s lovable mascot, is back for the winter season, ready for selfies and photos with her fans. Seaport’s star celebrity will make special appearances throughout the neighborhood as she settles into her home at Blizzard Bluff, located in The Superette, named Boston’s Best Outdoor Shopping Complex by Boston Magazine. Various proceeds from Betty’s activities will support 826 Boston, a nonprofit writing and tutoring center located in Egleston Square, dedicated to supporting students ages 6–18 with their creative writing skills. Island Creek Oysters, the nationally acclaimed Duxbury Bay oyster farm, is reimagining its Island Creek Raw Bar in Boston’s Seaport into a warm and inviting winter retreat. Inspired by the charm of its iconic Duxbury location, the Raw Bar will feature cozy outdoor seating complete with warm blankets and heat lamps—perfect for enjoying fresh oysters all season long. Located at 99 Autumn Lane at Harbor Way, the Raw Bar continues to serve up Island Creek’s celebrated oysters grown by founder Skip Bennett, along with hand-packed caviar and tinned fish from its New Bedford cannery.
